Op Shop Delights

It doesn't really get any more simple than shopping at the local Op shop (and having massive success with it). Here in Paddington we are blessed to have such a humongous Vinnies overflowing with goodies. I like to go and have a good rummage once a week. This week I found this blouse extremely similar to one I was close to spending $200 on for less than 10% of the price. Bargain! Don't get me wrong I love to treat myself to luxury clothing every now and then but you can't beat a good saving from time to time. And whats better still, it's highly unlikely anyone will be wearing the same thing!

Windswept Walks

Literally blown away, not only by the wind but by the beauty of the ocean. The feeling from the sea breeze is one that always makes me happy. Taking a walk by the ocean is one of the most simple things to do and one of the most beneficial. I was left fresh as a daisy on this Sunday and ready to have a super productive week - 'A Sunday well sent brings a week of content.' Wearing A two-piece from the latest Zulu & Zephyr collection PALMS perfect for a sunny day!

The Simple Life

A post I have been wanting to write for a while now, talk about how a simple life really can be magical. What I want to do here, show that anyone can live this kind of life and inspire people to do so (or better still show that you already do). It's ever so simple; savour the simple things! Like a walk in the morning, shopping at the markets, treating yourself to fresh flowers, enjoying a muffin or simply stopping to drink a cider on a rooftop bar over looking the beautiful city you live in! This day included all of the above and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I mean my Free People dress worn may have a little to do with it also! So finally I am getting used to living back in the real world and now I can honestly say I'm loving it!

From the Top - Palm Beach

Going back to my love for view points alongside my love for exploring more of Australia. A view I have seen many times by photograph was now below my feet. After a muddy but not so difficult walk up the famous Palm Beach (home of Home and Away) was in perfect view. Blessed as we usually are the Sun shone down on this Autumn day and even allowed us a play, or should I say bash around in the sea.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Just how Sunday mornings should be, EASY! Today waking up as early as possible to go on a morning stroll on the streets, or should I say hills, of Paddington. An easy day requires a super relaxed outfit of course, comfortable, simple and unique all rolled into one with this Museum two-piece. Back to Paddington - what a beautiful suburb to just wander with many many wowing sights, ever so fitting for my 'walls around the world' pics. Something silly that I love to do - find beautiful walls around the world and one place that I must say is full of them is Paddington. Having my favourite flowers in my hand and general beaming with happiness on this sunny Sunday morning, starting the week of in the best way.

Hunter Valley Gardens

Stepping into a fairytale? My kind of day and exactly what you get when entering the perfectly presented Hunter Valley gardens. Spending the day wandering from garden to garden enjoying each and every theme. With the giant chair in Storybook land being a personal favourite followed by the charm of the Oriental gardens. My outfit today, finished off nicely with a dream catcher necklace (for the bohemian in me), is also from Museum which really did fit the styling for this trip oh so very well.

Never Ending Green

Exchanging the usual never ending blue for fields of green on my recent trip to Pokolbin. The field featured above completely caught my attention. There was just something about that field so I thought only right to shoot there. I think it's safe to say the wardrobe for this trip was totally themed to the country surroundings. This playsuit is from Museum, a favourite of mine in Sydney and a store which catered the style needs of this trip just perfectly.

Get-a-way - Hunter Valley

Like I've said before I believe it's extremely important to treat yourself to a monthly getaway. Unfortunately I didn't manage one in March and it really did reflect on my mood. So April I'm doubling up, starting with the gorgeously green sights of Pokolbin, Hunter Valley. Akubra hats at the ready! I think this photo diary best shows what these Wineries can really do to you and how much fun you can have, as apposed to the perfectly picturesque sights I would usually post. Our first stop McGuigan's completely had us covered, feeding us with the finest cheese from the onsite shop whilst we enjoyed our wine. Perfect views, flowing wine and delicious food all topped off with the best company. Yep, I think this place did just the job in bringing back such a good level of energy and it's only 3 hours out of Sydney!!
